After having spent four decades as a witness to the chaos of war and the ravages it leaves in its wake, I seek to capture the resilience of those who are made to endure the
inconceivable, but above all to never stop observing the beauty of life which continues to survive and persist, always.
This visual quest has led me to seek to shed some light on the“Children of Abraham,”in order to show what brings us together rather than what dividesus.
Consequently, the Azerbaijan Land of Tolerance exhibition at the City Hall of the First Arron dissement of Paris presents a series of my reportages on the Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities which cohabitate in Azerbaijan. All are driven by a deep commitment to sharing, mutual respect and dialogue with each other. This exhibition highlights the millennial ties which all of these religious communities have forged with each other.
Together, they live a dream of communal harmony which I hope one day will become a reality throughout the world.
